Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)

No person shall operate a commercial motor vehicle, (CMV) unless that person has been issued and is in possession of a valid commercial driver’s license. (CDL). The CDL license must also include any applicable endorsements for the truck that is being used. Anyone who is convicted of operating a CMV without a CDL or without the proper endorsement is subject to a fine of not less than $253, and not more that $502, or imprisonment up to 60 days, or both.
